The Nevada State Board of Nursing is transitioning to a cloud based system that will allow all applicants to complete their initial and renewal applications online through the Nevada Nurse Portal. As a result of this upgrade we will no longer accept paper applications effective Friday, May 25, 2018. It is anticipated that the Nevada Nurse Portal will be available Monday, June 4, 2018. During this short transition period we will be unable to process any paper applications.
If we received your paper application prior to May 25, 2018, please review your licensure/certificate status on our website or contact our office after June 4, 2018, for additional information. If we received your paper application after May 25, 2018, we will contact you to submit your application via the Nevada Nurse Portal once it is available and your paper application will not be processed.
Renewing your license/certificate:
The online renewal system will be unavailable Wednesday, May 30, 2018, through June 4, 2018. If you are due to expire during this time you are strongly encouraged to renew immediately. If you require further assistance regarding your renewal and your license/certificate expires during this transition period please contact our office at 888-590-6726.
