As we enter the 2023 Legislative Session, the Nevada State Board of Nursing will again attempt to enact the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). The NLC allows a nurse to have one multi-state license in the primary state of residence and to practice in other compact states (remote states). Currently, BDR 522 asks to ratify the nurse licensure compact and will be introduced into committee in the 2023 Session.
